Phoenix 200 Club Guidelines
Friday, 27th January 2012

Confusion has arisen regarding prize monies for the Phoenix 200 Club which has now taken place in December and January.

We need to stress that the money is calculated on a percentage basis of the number of people paying into the club.

At present this is based on the minimum of 50 people in the club and equates to 1st Prize £75.00, 2nd Prize £37.50 and 3rd/4th Prizes £18.75 each, which totals £150.00.

As explained in the original notice (which you can download) the more people who pay in the higher the prize will be.

An Evening with Dave Simms
Friday, 27th January 2012

The Supporters Club's next event will be 'An Evening with Dave Simms', taking place at the Cresta Court Hotel on Tuesday 6th March 2012 at 7:30pm (Dave will 'take to the stage' for 8pm).

Tickets are priced at £5 for Supporters Club Members and £6 for everyone else, they can be purchased from the Supporters Club desk (under block 7) before games begin and during the intervals or from Norma on the front ticket desk during intervals only. Tickets can also be purchased on the door on the night.

This was a very successful event last year and everyone who attended enjoyed the evening. Dave is witty and entertaining with some great stories relating to all things hockey. He also has many tales about some of the best players ever to lace up in this country, including our own 'Great One'.

However he is controversial and he does provoke reaction, making this an adult only event.

Review: Night at The Dogs
Sunday, 22nd January 2012

The tickets were on sale for just four weeks and we are delighted to announce that not only did they sell out but there were also additional places added onto the booking to cope with demand.

The evening was about four hours long and contained a roller coaster of emotions along the row of tables occupied by the Phoenix fans and players as they all watched the dogs race round the track, hoping to win some money along the way.

Thank you to all the fans who ventured out on a cold and wet January evening, the support was greatly appreciated and we hope you all had a good night.

We would also like to thank James Neil, Tom Duggan, Slava Koulikov, Josh Ward & Ciaran Long who were the players in attendance. They certainly seemed to enjoy themselves, as the photos show...

Competition Winners - W/E 22nd January 2012
Sunday, 22nd January 2012

Steve "Fossy" Foster won £30 this weekend on the hockey card when he correctly chose the Slough Jets. Congratulations to him!

We also need to congratulate Mandy Johnson again who won the £15 away-game sweepstake prize. She won when David Longstaff scored the first goal at Guildford on Sunday evening.

Congratulations to you both and many thanks to everyone that took part.
Good Luck for next week.
