Altrincham Carnival 2012
Wednesday, 16th May 2012
On Saturday 7th July The Altrincham Carnival is in town again, and as usual Manchester Phoenix have their own float!
Volunteers are required to assist dressing the float and to take part in the parade itself. If you think you can help, then please be at St. Margaret's Road, Altrincham at 10am to dress the float, or 11am if you would just like to take part in the parade, distributing leaflets along the walk.
Please come wearing anything Phoenix related (such as a t-shirt, jersey, hoody, jacket or hat) to help promote our ice hockey club to everyone enjoying the carnival!
N.B. Cars are not allowed on the road so you would need to park elsewhere and walk to the assembly point. Please allow enough time to do this.

Membership 2012/13

With the news that on Thursday our first signing of the off season will be revealed, the Supporters Club are pleased to announce that prices have been frozen for membership for the 2012/13 season.
Membership remains at £12 per adult, £6 per child and £30 for a family (two adults and two children).
All members will of course receive a pack as usual, but the content is to be confirmed in due course.
You can download a membership form on the downloads page of this website. Please send all completed forms (and a cheque made payable to 'MPSC') during the off season to the following address:

You can also sign up at all events during the off season too by visiting our desk, where we are able to take cash payments as well as cheques. And don't forget to pop along to the SC Desk (under Block 7) during games in the season.

New Board Member Required

It is with regret that at the April SC meeting we accepted the resignation of Pete Roden who has decided to step down as a Committee Member with immediate effect. We would like to thank Pete for his invaluable contribution and tireless efforts to the board during his term in office.
With this resignation comes an opening for a new committee member. If anyone is interested in joining the board for the next 12 months please send an email to info@phoenixsupporters.co.uk to let us know. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, why you want to join, and what you think you could contribute to the board.
All applicants must be an existing member of the Supporters Club at the closing date and rejoin for the 2012/13 season. You will be required to attend monthly meetings, held on a Tuesday at a central location in Manchester from 6:30pm.
Applications will be acknowledged within 24 hours of receipt. The closing date for these applications is 25/05/2012 with all applicants being informed in due course.

April's 200 Club Winners

Tonight the draw took place for April's 200 Club and the winners are as follows:
1st Prize (£75.00) - Yvonne Oates
2nd Prize (£37.50) - Alexis Gratton
3rd Prize (£18.75) - Alyson Archer
4th Prize (£18.75) - Iain Whatmore
All cheques will be sent out in the post in the next couple of days.
If you want to be in with a chance of winning in May then the rules and regulations can be found here on the downloads page of this website as well as the application form to join.
The payment will be taken by Standing Order on or around 1st May 2012, with the prize draw taking place on 29th May (all cheques will be posted out to the winners).

Playoff Hockey Card Winner
Monday, 16th April 2012
Despite being away from home at Coventry, we still ran a hockey card competition this weekend and the winner is mother and daughter duo Lynn & Dani Barnes, who correctly chose Nottingham Panthers.
Thank-you to everyone that took part and congratulations to both Lynn & Dani on winning the £60 prize.
We loved Dani's Oompa-Loompa outfit she donned for Saturday's games to get into the spirit of the weekend!
